Personal Anecdote:

One spring evening after work, I was on the softball field with some other DG office mates from the Melville, NY, office and it was my turn up at bat.  At that moment, the office Sales Manager came running across the street in his suit, waving his arms, and shouting loudly “Rich, you have to go to Aunt Jeannie’s home now!  Your wife is there and needs you to take her to the hospital right away!  Your baby is coming!”  My wife’s pregnancy was beginning the delivery of our younger daughter.  As I dropped the bat to run to my car, my DG office mates on the ball field burst out in a spontaneous round of applause for our then-pending accomplishment.  Almost 25 years later, one of those office mates describes that event on the softball field as one of his most memorable events at DG.
